Sweated for 1 hour just for this view. 10/10 would do it again. If you’re looking to escape the city chaos this weekend, Sai Wan is always the answer. Crystal clear water, soft sand, and nothing but good vibes. HOW TO GET THERE: Option 1: 🚌🥾 🚌 From Sai Kung Town, make your way to Sai Wan Pavilion. You can take the NR29 village minibus (which departs near the Sai Kung Town Hall on Chan Man Street) or grab a New Territories taxi (green taxi) directly from the town center. 🥾The Hike: Once you arrive at the pavilion, follow the clear, paved walking path. The trek to the beach is roughly 2.5 kilometers and takes about 30 to 45 minutes. It is generally easy to navigate as the trail is mostly flat or downhill on the way there. Option 2: 🚤 Travel to the Sai Kung Public Pier. Look for the various open-air stands and vendors set up along the waterfront pier selling tickets to Tai Long Wan or Sai Wan. The speedboat ride takes roughly 25 to 30 minutes, dropping you off directly on the shore. It is highly recommended to book or arrange your return ticket immediately upon arrival or in advance, as the afternoon boats heading back to town fill up quickly, especially on weekends. #beach #summer #hongkong #saiwanbeach
