Not pictured: the gratin 😉 @savoietahoe is a new addition to North Lake Tahoe’s dining scene, and I’m here for the cozy space and alpine cuisine. We recently got a chance to eat there (as a walk-in at the bar) and first of all, I was instantly charmed by the interior space. Lots of wood tones and plaid in a modern style. But ofc, we’re here for the food. Pastas were highly recommended, but apps like the super crispy French fries and crudite, and their cocktails, aren’t to be overlooked either. And! I think this is a trend. Savoie is one of several restaurants finally turning Tahoe’s dining scene from beige and boring (burgers, mid pizza, more French fries) into one worth traveling for.
