Looking for a quieter side of Seoul this spring? Hongje Waterfall is running free wellness programs for foreigners and international visitors, and it makes a lovely stop if you want a calm break from the city. Seodaemun-gu prepared three free experiences here. The first is a live waterfall soundscape session, where you can listen to the sound of Hongje Waterfall through professional directional microphones. It runs on weekends from March 14 to March 29, 2026, between 1 PM and 4 PM, and you can join on-site without a reservation. The second is a free guided trekking tour from Hongje Waterfall to Ansan Red Clay Path. This one is also held on weekends, with English tours running on March 14 to 29 from 2 PM to 3 PM. Japanese tours are on March 21, 22, and 29, and Chinese tours are on March 15, 22, and 29. The walk starts at the Seodaemun Tourist Information Center near Hongje Waterfall, and walk-ins are possible. There is also an ongoing Seodaemun Stamp Tour. Pick up a stamp book at the tourist information center, collect stamps from five locations, and receive a completion gift. If you post a review on social media after joining, you can also receive a Hongje Waterfall magnet while supplies last. This was prepared especially for ARMY and international visitors coming to Seoul for the BTS concert, so it is a great idea if you want a peaceful reset after the show.
