Calm, protected waters, loads of marine life and super easy to access straight off the beach. 🐠 What you might see: • Blue gropers cruising the reef • Stingrays gliding over the sand • Huge schools of silver bream • Stripy Old Wives near the rocks • And if you’re lucky… the resident turtle, Basil (still on our hit list 🐢) 📍 Where exactly? Cabbage Tree Bay Aquatic Reserve - enter via Shelly Beach (quieter + clearer) or from the Manly side. 🌊 Conditions: Best on a calm, sunny day with low swell. Mornings usually have the clearest visibility. 🤿 What to bring: • Mask + snorkel • Fins if you have them • Reef-safe sunscreen • A rash vest in cooler months 💙 It’s a protected marine reserve - no fishing and no touching wildlife.
