Anyone else plan trips around the hotel? 🙋🏻‍♀️ In Healdsburg, California, @themadrona is a 24-room boutique hotel set inside an 1881 mansion, reimagined by designer Jay Jeffers into a playful, maximalist retreat. It’s one of the most unique stays in Sonoma wine country and hands down one of my favorite hotels in all of California. I’d visited a few times before for drinks but last June, I splurged on a birthday getaway in one of their cottages tucked along the edge of the property. It was perfect, though I’d be super happy staying in one of the (more affordable) mansion rooms next time as well.
