Things we did in Japan that went against advice. Japan is such a large country and there is so much to see and do and you might feel like you have to do everything that someone tells you but here is 5 things we did that didn’t follow that advice 1. Got outside the typical Tokyo-Kyoto-Osaka route 2. Didn’t buy a JR pass 3. Didn’t make food reservations or wait in line for food 4. Did the tourist things (samurai museum, skytree tree, bamboo forest etc) 5. Bought all tickets direct and not through 3rd party (klook, Viator etc) #japan #tokyo #kyoto
