A day in my lile in Kyoto 🌱About Wazuka is a village nestled in the mountains of southern Kyoto, known as the home of Uji tea. It is a quiet, small town where waves of green tea fields stretch across the hills, and the craftsmanship of tea artisans is still very much alive. It takes about an hour from central Kyoto, but the beauty of the tea fields spreading out before you is truly impressive. Visiting Wazuka made me feel a renewed sense of gratitude and respect for the farmers whose dedication and skill bring us such high-quality tea. ⚠️ Caution • Tea fields are private properties. Please do not enter them. • Do not touch tea leaves or equipment. • Do not take photo from close distance during farming. When filming farmers at work, please adhere to rules regarding filming consent. • Do not park on street. Please park a Wazuka-cha cafe. • Please take garbage with you. • Please refrain from disturbing farming. ☕️The café featured in the vlog ◾︎dan dan cafe @dandancafe_wazuka ◾︎Address 1-1 Ishitera Higashidani, Wazuka-cho, Soraku-gun, Kyoto 619-1221, Japan. ◾︎Access(from Kyoto Sta.) 1) Train • From Kyoto Station, take JR Nara Line to Kizu. • Change to the JR Kansai Main Line for Kamo Station.
