Here’s your guide to finding Fern Stream Waterfall: 🥾 Trail: An easy 15 minute walk down to the riverbed and up through it. You will probably get wet up to your knees. PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS IF THE WATER IS FAST! Use your judgement wisely before entering any moving waterways. 🅿️ Access/Parking: Free parking is available at the trailhead/campground for Waiohine Gorge. 📏 Difficulty: Easy. 🤫 Secret: There is an amazing swing bridge (one of the largest in the North Island) that you can brave, if you dare! 👧👦 Family-friendly: Yes - the walk is flat and has multiple swimming holes of various depths.
