Where to stay in Seoul -> Save this for later I live in Jeju, used to live in Seoul, so I’m up and down and all around a lot. From hostels, which I usually stay when I’m on my own, to hotels which I opt for with my family, I’m sharing the places I’ve stayed and what I thought. 📍 Hi Seoul Hostel Central Myeongdong Address: 3rd and 4th floor, 45, Myeongdong 8na-gil, Jung-gu, 04535 Seoul, South Korea Staff: 10/10 Bed Comfort: 10/10 Accessibility: 6/10 Space: 7/10 Cleanliness: 10/10 A great hostel in one of the busiest parts of Seoul. The beds and pillows are great for a good nights rest. Both floors are kept clean and prepped. Water bottles, towels, and refillable water station in each hallway. The staff are so nice, helping when and where they can. Biggest issue is there is no elevator, though close to the subway station, if you can’t carry your luggage up for flights of stairs, this would be a difficult stay. Special shoutout, the BBQ restaurant on the 2nd floor, Wang Bi Jip, was delicious and staff there are very attentive as well. For reference, I stayed here for 14 nights in May, 2026. Note: there are other Hi Seoul Hostels, this is the central Myeongdong branch.
