: Alpe di Siusi (Seiser Alm) — Europe’s largest high-altitude alpine meadow and one of the most breathtaking places in the Dolomites. Endless rolling pastures, dramatic peaks, and picture-perfect trails everywhere you look. We stayed in Bolzano, and it was about a 55-minute drive. We left around 7:00 AM and reached by 8:00 AM, which was perfect timing — because after 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, the road to Alpe di Siusi is closed to private cars during peak season (June-October). During those hours, you’ll need to park at the base and take the cable car or shuttle bus up. Once at the top, we did two hikes — one of them being the famous trail that takes you through sweeping meadows, mountain huts, and jaw-dropping Dolomite backdrops. Truly felt like walking through a painting . 💡 Tips if you’re visiting: - Arrive before 9 AM if you want to drive up & park directly - Otherwise, use the cable car from Siusi/Seis for an easy ride up - Hikes here range from easy strolls to full-day adventures — something for everyone - Don’t miss the chance to stop at a mountain hut for local food. This meadow is a Dolomites must — the kind of place that makes you pinch yourself to believe it’s real. #seiseralm #seiseralm_alpedisiusi #dolomitesitaly #visitdolomites #europetravels #dolomiteshiking #alpedisiusi
