unknownndestinationn — Belfort van Gent

This might be one of the easiest (and most beautiful) trips you can do from London. Back in 2024 we took the @eurostar from London St Pancras Int’l to Brussels — no airport, no stress, just straight from city centre to city centre in around 2 hours. Then another 28 minutes later… you arrive in Ghent. A real medieval city with canals, a castle in the middle, and views that feel straight out of Hogwarts… but without the crowds. You can find Eurostar tickets from around £39 one way — we even found return deals for a long weekend in June (Thursday to Sunday), which gives you enough time to explore both Brussels and Ghent. It’s now a university town and cultural hub, so you get the perfect mix of history, food, and a really nice local vibe. These are a few spots you shouldn’t miss: ⟟ St. Michael’s Bridge ⟟ Gravensteen ⟟ Graslei ⟟ Belfry of Ghent ⟟ St. Nicolas’ Church ⟟ Patershol Save this and add Ghent to your list 🤍 @visitghent @belgium #europehiddengems #ghentbelgium #belgiumtravel #londontravel #eurostar Things to do in Ghent | Ghent travel guide | Ghent itinerary | Underrated cities in Europe | Hidden gems Europe | Weekend trips from London | Eurostar destinations | London to Brussels train | Belgium travel itinerary | Fairytale cities Europe
