: All I Need is Chai, Sunshine, and Snowfall in Tahoe! ☕❄️ After lots of research, I created an itinerary tailored to my stay in Truckee and the activities I wanted to try—snowshoeing, a fun treasure hunt race, and a must-see visit to Emerald Bay. While I couldn’t explore all of South Lake Tahoe, I did explore a lot of North Lake Tahoe, even venturing onto the Nevada side for a scenic hike. Here’s a breakdown of my trip: Day 1 🚗 Left the Bay Area at 7 AM and arrived at Donner Pass around 11 AM. 🌨️ Explored the Donner Summit and witnessed beautiful snowfall in Norden. 🏕️ Checked in at the luxurious @villagecampresorts glamping stay—highly recommend! 🍽️ Enjoyed dinner in downtown Truckee, a beautiful downtown. Day 2 👣 Went snowshoeing at Palisades, Olympic Village (stay tuned for a detailed reel!) 📍 Stopped at Truckee River Overlook for breathtaking views. 🍴 Had lunch in Tahoe City—great spots with lakefront views. 🗺️ Played a fun treasure game in Incline Village, completing tasks at scenic spots. 🏖️ Visited Incline Beach for a serene snowy vibe. 🐦 Hiked Chickadee Ridge hoping to see the famous Chickadee birds (bring birdseed to have them land on your hand!) and did more snowshoeing. Day 3 🏞️ Checked out and explored Northstar Village—don’t miss the free gondola ride! (Reel posted on how to take it.) 🌲 Drove to South Lake Tahoe and visited Emerald Bay State Park and Eagle Falls—absolute must-sees! 🚗 Left around 3 PM to avoid driving in the mountains after dark, arriving back in the Bay by 7 PM.
