unknownndestinationn — El Chorro

Most people go to Málaga for the beaches, but…. did you know Europe’s spectacular canyon is just 1 hour away? And hidden inside this dramatic gorge is a trail that was closed for years and was once considered one of the world’s most dangerous. This is Caminito del Rey and one thing we’d recommend? explore it with @getyourguide @getyourguidecommunity Comment “TOUR” and we’ll send you our 5% discount code to book this experience with GetYourGuide. We honestly didn’t know what to expect before going, but this quickly became one of our favourite days in southern Spain. Walking through the canyon, surrounded by huge cliffs, with the river far below and the mountains all around you, feels like stepping into another world. What we loved most is that it wasn’t just a hike — it was an experience full of history, incredible views, and those moments where you stop and think… “how is this real?” And we didn’t stop there. After the trail, we explored the area by e-bike, riding through forest paths and mountain trails, passing old quarries and climbing above the pine forests for amazing views over El Chorro and the Gaitanes Gorge. If you’re visiting southern Spain, add Caminito del Rey to your list — it’s an adventure you won’t forget.
