
Seoul Palace Moonlight Tours are back this September, 2025! Here’s what to know: Gyeongbokgung Palace Starlight Tours: September 3, 2025 ~ September 28, 2025 - Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, available the rest of the week. - Hours: 7:00pm ~ 9:30pm (last admission at 8:30pm) - Open Areas: Gwanghwamun Gate, Heungnyemun Gate, Geunjeongjeon Hall, Gyeonghoeru Pavilion, Sajeongjeon Hall, Gangnyeonjeon Hall, Gyotaejeon Hall, and Amisan Garden. - Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays there will be a Joseon royal family reenactment at 7:00pm that lasts 50 minutes. - 300 walk up first-come-first-serve tickets will be available for foreigners with a maximum purchase of 2 per person. - There will also be special performances at Okchaojae, a special area of the palace, on September 25 and September 26. Changdeokgung Palace Moonlight Tours: September 28, October 5, 12, & 19* - There are 6 entry times each date starting from 7:10pm and the last entry time is 8:10pm. - A professional guide takes visitors through the site to see performances at major spots on the palace grounds. There is also a traditional dessert and tea set for participants. Duration: 100 minutes - Advanced tickets are required for Changdeokgung’s special night tours.
