unknownndestinationn — Haraldshaugen

Most people come to Norway for the mountains… but one of our favourite discoveries was actually this underrated coastal walk near Haugesund We found it during our stop with @celebritycruises and despite the rain, wind and very dramatic North Sea weather it ended up being one of the highlights of the day. Tag the person you’d do this walk with 👀 The trail follows the coastline just outside the city and takes you past some of Haugesund’s most interesting landmarks — from Haraldshaugen, where Norway’s first king is said to be buried, to Kvalen Lighthouse and the giant horse sculptures known as The Rising Tide. What we loved most is how wild it feels. One minute you’re walking through open coastal landscapes with waves crashing below, the next you’re spotting sheep wandering freely beside the path. It’s around 6km return, easy to follow, and on a clear day we can only imagine how beautiful the views must be. #norwaytravel #haugesund #visitnorway #norwayhiking #cruisetravel Haugesund Norway | Norway coastal walks | Things to do in Haugesund | Norway hidden gems | Norway cruise port | Southwest Norway | North Sea views | Norway travel guide
