The thought that it will no longer exist at some point makes me sad 🥹 Venice, the floating city, is known for its historic architecture and unique waterways. But this city is struggling with serious problems: land subsidence and sea level rise. If effective measures are not taken, Venice could be under water for the next 70 years. This represents an enormous challenge both for the preservation of the cultural heritage and for the livability of the city.
