rcee_xandrahrain — Victoria Peak

The ultimate 360-degree sunset spot in Hong Kong. Say hello to Mount High West just beside the famous Victoria Peak. From its peak at 494 meters, take in the views over Cyberport, Pok Fu Lam, Kennedy Town, Sai Ying Pun, ICC and West Kowloon. Quick Guide how to get to Mount High West ⛰️ 1. Get to The Peak: Take Bus 15 from Central Exchange Square, the Green Minibus 1, or ride the iconic Peak Tram up to the Peak Public Transport Terminus. 2. The Flat Walk (30 mins): From the Peak Galleria, follow the flat, paved Harlech Road (part of the Morning Trail loop). It’s an easy, shaded walk with beautiful greenery. 3. The Picnic Area: Keep walking until you reach the High West Picnic Area where Harlech Road and Lugard Road intersect. Look for the signposts and the pavilion pointing toward Mount High West. 4. The Final Ascent (20 mins): Follow the trail behind the pavilion/picnic site. This is where the real workout begins—you’ll climb a steep flight of roughly 600 stone steps to reach the 494-meter summit viewing platform. Golden Hour: Time your hike so you reach the summit just before sunset. The 360-degree views over Victoria Harbour, Kowloon, and Lamma Island are unmatched during golden hour.
