unknownndestinationn — Windsor Castle

Most people visit Windsor Castle… but almost no one talks about this fairytale castle just outside London. A place where you don’t just see history — you actually step inside centuries of it. Stone towers. Medieval walls. Views over the countryside that don’t feel like the UK at all. This is Arundel Castle Built nearly 1,000 years ago, it’s one of the longest-inhabited castles in England and still home to the Duke of Norfolk today. We visited on October 25th — just a few days before it closed for the season on November 1st… and it honestly felt like we had it almost to ourselves. Now it’s reopened again from April 1st — and it’s definitely one to plan for spring and summer. 💰 Tickets from £17 (depending on what you want to visit) And the best part? It’s just about 90 minutes from London, but it feels like you’ve stepped into a completely different world. If you want to see a side of England most people miss… save this for your next day trip 👀 #londonguide #londontravel #londontrip #londonthingstodo #arundelcastle Things to do near London | London day trips | Castles near London | Hidden gems UK | Historic places UK | England travel guide
